Honorable Mentions 8 (Album Edition)

It's going to be a hot summer! Here are three crazy leaks from Drake and The-Dream, both dropping albums in June.

I love it. I definitely think it'll be a Summer '10 Single if not Anthem. I mean, why not? I think at this point, it's safe to say Thank Me Later is the most anticipated album of 2010 so far and a jailed Wayne is on it? #Cmonson, Wayne and Drizzy's fan base is too large for this song to #fail. But I love the end because it reminds me of how So Far Gone felt when I first heard it and of how that still relevant feeling first felt.

{Love King June 29th}

In an earlier post, I wrote that there was a lack of faith in Dream's anticipated and alleged last album, Love King (peep the album artwork above). These two songs have definitely increased faith, but there is still a lot of doubt. These are only two hot songs out of a few recent leaks that, to me, we very lackluster and beneath Dream's talent level. "Sex Intelligent" sounds like an opening track or one of the first tracks on the album only because of it's introduction and ad-libs. I love how it captures that Atlanta steeze and vibe. My choice between the two of these would be "All Black Everything" though. I love the beat and the chopped and screwed vocals riding the kick. This type of song is the type of stuff Dream's known and loved for. I appreciate the theme as well, so much so that this would be a really hot video if done right. (side note: I think music videos are making their way back to mainstream again. sweeet) Enjoy....
